Terms of Service
Last updated 11 September 2026
These terms cover the use of DidYouClipThat, a program operated and made available byAnze Kos, an individual based in Slovenia, contactable at anzekos11@gmail.com. Using the program means accepting them.
1. What the service is
DidYouClipThat is software you run on your own computer. It downloads a stream you point it at, transcribes it locally, selects moments, renders vertical clips, and uploads the clips you approve to accounts you have connected yourself. It is provided free of charge. There is no subscription, no account and no paid tier.
2. Your accounts
You connect your own TikTok and, optionally, YouTube accounts through those platforms' own login pages. You remain bound by their terms, including TikTok's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and the operator cannot act on your behalf with them. You may revoke access at any time, as described in the Privacy Policy.
3. The content you clip
You are responsible for having the right to use the footage you feed into the program and to publish the clips it produces. Many streamers run clipping campaigns and invite exactly this; others do not permit it. The program does not and cannot check which is the case.
You agree not to use it to publish content that is unlawful, that infringes someone's copyright or personality rights, that misrepresents what a person said by cutting it deceptively, or that breaks the rules of the platform you are posting to.
4. What you must not do
- Use the program to post to an account you do not own or are not authorised to operate.
- Automate posting at a volume intended to spam a platform, or to evade a platform's limits.
- Present machine generated captions as a verbatim transcript for any official purpose.
- Remove or work around the approval step in order to publish without review.
5. Availability and change
The program depends on services outside the operator's control: the platforms that host streams, TikTok's and Google's APIs, and the model that selects moments. Any of them can change or stop working, and parts of the program will then stop working with them. Features may change or be removed. Nothing here promises uptime or continued availability.
6. No warranty
The program is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Automatic selection and automatic captions make mistakes: a clip can be cut at an unfortunate moment and a caption can put the wrong word on screen. Reviewing each clip before approving it is your job, and it is why the approval step exists.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the program, including lost views, lost revenue, removed posts, strikes or suspended accounts. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury or damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Ending it
You end your use by disconnecting the accounts and deleting the program. The operator may stop making the program available, or withdraw access for a user who breaks section 3 or 4, without notice.
9. Law
Slovenian law applies and the courts of Slovenia have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you have where you live.
10. Changes to these terms
Changes are published on this page and the date at the top is updated. Continuing to use the program after a change means accepting the new version.
